High Definition Imaging

Beam Splitter and Video Adaptor
made exclusively for adapting video cameras on slit lamps of various manufacturers: Takagi, Haag Streit, Luneau Topcon, CSO, Magnon and more.

It does not affect the examination process and the observation through the eyepiece.
It uses a minimum percentage of light, only from one eyepiece.

Integrated mechanical shutter for adjusting light passing to the camcorder.
The mechanical diaphragm increases the range of possibilities in photography and video: Wide aperture: Requires low light illumination and the image acquisition are faster. Depth of field is significantly reduced. Used at high magnifications and in order to focus on specific details (e.g. cornea). Narrow aperture: Requires increased illumination and the image acquisition are slower. The image is focused on all points. Best for low magnification and wide field shots (e.g. iris).

System Vision Background Illumination
In images of the anterior segment of the eye, where captured with the Background Illumination System, the position of the slit beam is shown very clear.

Therefore, the Background Illumination System is useful in various situations especially when explaining to the patient their diagnosis.

Video signal digital conversion
The video signal from the video camera is inputted into the imaging systems PC, through a VIDEO to a USB digital converter.

SL VISION Software
One of the most user-friendly management software’s that captures ophthalmic images and video. This software is a modern and extremely functional organizer for your customer database.

The SL-VISION software is easy to use, with an attractive operating environment, automatically recognizes the analogue camcorder on the slit lamp and displays the examination to the physician, the patient, and observers.

With this tool, you drag & drop the patient data and photos and easily print the report in a few minutes, which in turn simultaneously stores the file as PDF format in the PC. Moreover, it can provide image comparison for monitoring of incidents and can quickly create a medical report form.

For your convenience we offer a multilingual support (English, German, Spanish, Greek, etc.) with a detailed explanation of all the software functions and capabilities.

Saving photos & recording video in SL Vision
Saving images and recording video with the SL Vision software is done by the button on the joystick of any slit lamp or through a dedicated footswitch. Both systems are connected to the PC through USB.
